What actually happens each month
The monthly fee is not hosting and a padlock. It pays for a person actively running your site each month.
- Technical health pass, speed, links, forms, SSL, backups
- Your content changes made for you, prices, photos, hours, wording
- A plain-English note each month showing what was checked, what changed and how your site is set up for search
- Small improvements shipped, not saved up for an upsell
The search work is usually sold on its own as a separate monthly retainer. We built it into the way we make the site, so one monthly covers the site, the upkeep and the search work together.
That is why the price looks low for what is in it. The tools do the repeat work, and you get the saving.

Don Designs is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT to add and the price you see is the price you pay. Your notice period is set by the year you start and does not change afterwards. Start this year and it is 30 days for as long as you are with us. From January 2027 a new client gives 90 days notice, and from January 2028 there is a 12-month term, then 90 days notice after that. We look after everything, so there is nothing for you to log into or manage.
